Triphobo users can now switch between trip planning and flight search
We are excited to announce that we are now providing flight results for Triphobo, an online travel portal that helps with trip planning for both individual and business travellers.
Triphobo allows users to easily plan trips to any destination in the world without the help of a travel agent. It is a visual itinerary planner that enables users to choose their travel destinations and plan a trip that suits their preferences, for free. The tool also helps to optimise trips planned by users by suggesting the best routes and transit options. Triphobo's unique selling point is demonstrated in its versatility as the tool uses a high-tech algorithm that aids users to plan a day-wise trip plan. By combining the planner with carefully curated destination content, the portal is able to provide logistical information such as a venue's opening hours, its location as well as ticket prices. TripHobo itineraries can be shared via email and social media, and are easily accessed by users while on the road.
The partnership will ensure that individuals can easily transition from the trip planning process on Triphobo to the flight booking process on Skyscanner. Since flight details, like timings, are extremely crucial in day-wise trip planning, adding a flight to the itinerary helps users to create a more detailed plan. Once done, the users can then book the flight via Skyscanner's API.
Speaking on the partnership, Mike Ferguson, Principal Commercial Manager at Skyscanner said,
"The partnership between Skyscanner and Triphobo is a natural fit as both of us aim to provide the best value and choice for customers. As Skyscanner works to power travel search globally through our API products, we are delighted to be providing Triphobo's users with the opportunity to book flights as they plan trips."
