Skyscanner partners with Yapta to support their price tracking service for leisure travellers
We’re delighted to announce that we have partnered with Yapta, to bring enhanced performance and user experience for their leisure travellers through our Travel API. Yapta is the leading provider of airfare and hotel price tracking services, which will now bring enhanced performance and functionality through the partnership with Skyscanner for flight search and Traxo for travel itinerary parsing.

Our Travel APIs connect your customers to our data, enabling them to get the best deals on flights, hotels or car hire from wherever they are in the world.
With the Skyscanner API in place, Yapta can now offer leisure travellers access to a wide range of commercial flights. With this in place, users can now search and identify the specific flights that they want to price-track. Yapta will then notify them when the price drops, or hits a desired price point.
The service has been designed with mobile in mind, using a responsive web design that enables it to function across all browsers and on mobile devices and tablets. The service now also offers mobile SMS price drop notifications.
To begin tracking airfare prices using Yapta’s new and improved service, travellers can visit my.yapta.com to create an account (or login to an existing account). Once an account has been established, members can begin tracking flights. Yapta’s system accounts for any airline rebooking fee before issuing a price drop alert, so all price notifications represent a net savings to the traveller.
